QuikLinc is designed to make daily/weekly changes to a webpage easy and quick.
QuikLinc does its job by altering the static page content between predefined markers in the original web page. The program will get the existing page from the website, alter it as required, and then upload the changed page back to the website again.
This means it doesn't require a dynamic site that uses database access, PHP, ASP, scripts and because it simply replaces content, the page being updated can use different technologies such as html or aspx and QuikLinc will still work.
Markers are placed within the web page to indicate where the content should start and stop. This can usually be done by placing html comments within the page such as
The content information is stored in a local XML file, but an option within QuikLinc allows this file to be stored on the website so the content can be updated by different users and/or from different computers without losing previously entered information.
